Radiology and oncology specialists are invited to take part in the work of the conference of Ukrainian Society of Therapeutic Radiologists and Radiation Oncologists “Urgent Issues of Radiation Therapy in Ukraine” , which is to be held on September 21-22, 2009 in Chernivtsi.
The scientific program of the conference includes the following questions:
Patient safety and quality assuarance in radiation therapy
Questions of National radiation therapy audit
Simultaneous chemoradiation therapy of tumors
Radiotherapy complications and their treatment
Deadline for abstract submission is May 1, 2008. The manuscripts not exceeding 6 pages should be submitted as two paper copies and in electronic form (3.5-inch diskettes, Word format, Times New Roman 14) together with a cover letter and the act of expertise, brief summary in Russian (not exceeding 320 words) and key words (up to 7). The articeles will be published in Jcranian Journal of Radiology included to the list of special publications of Higher attestation commission of Ukraine.
The articles will be published in the Ukrainian Journal of Radiology. The price of each publication is 100 hryvnas per article.
The articles and the receits about the paiment for publication should be sent to Olena Kononenko, Grigoriev's Institute for Medical Radiology, vul Pushkinska 82, Kharkiv, 61024, Ukraine.

Radiologists and oncologists are invited to take part in the work of the conference of Ukrainian Society of Therapeutic Radiologists and Radiation Oncologists, which is to be held on September 18-19, 2008 in Kherson.
The scientific program of the conference includes the following questions:
• Radiation diagnosis in oncology
• Personnel training for radiation oncology and radiation diagnosis in oncology
• Radiotherapy for nervous system tumors
• Simultaneous chemoradiation therapy
• Radiotherapy for non-tumor diseases
