Dear colleagues!

We invite you to take part in the 5th Congress of Ukrainian Society of Radiation Oncologists (USRO)
(Chernigiv, June 20–22, 2010)

The scientific program of the congress includes the following questions:
1. The problems of technical re-equipment of radiology cancer hospitals and metrology and technical provision.
2. National TLD audit of distance gamma-therapy units.
3. Problems of specialist provision in therapeutic radiology: specialties, syllabuses, specialist training.
4. Radiotherapy protocols.
5. Up-to-date brachytherapy.
6. Combination therapy for lymphoproliferative diseases.
7. Others.

 

The presentations are illustrated with the use of MP-Point 97–2003 (MP-Point 2007 is not applicable).

Requirements for manuscript preparation and submission

           Deadline for abstract submission is April 1, 2010. The manuscripts not exceeding 6 pages should be submitted as two paper copies and in electronic form (CD/DVD disks, Word format, Times New Roman 14) together with a cover letter and the act of expertise, brief  summary in Russian (not exceeding 320 words) and key words (up to 7). The articles will be published in Ukrainian Journal of Radiology included to the list of special publications of Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine. The price of each publication is 100 hryvnas per article.
The articles and the receipts about the payment for publication should be sent to Olena Kononenko, Grigoriev's Institute for Medical Radiology, vul. Pushkinska 82, Kharkiv, 61024, Ukraine.

Radiology and oncology specialists are invited to take part in the work of the conference of Ukrainian Society of Therapeutic Radiologists and Radiation Oncologists “Urgent Issues of Radiation Therapy in Ukraine” , which is to be held on September 21-22, 2009 in Chernivtsi.

The scientific program of the conference includes the following questions:

  1. Patient safety and quality assuarance in radiation therapy

  2. Questions of National radiation therapy audit

  3. Simultaneous chemoradiation therapy of tumors

  4. Radiotherapy complications and their treatment

Deadline for abstract submission is May 1, 2008.
